Camp dates 2008: Sunday, June 8 - Sat., June 14

Rocky Heights Leadership Camp is an annual camp for boys from the ages of 10 to 15. We will occasionally accept boys a little older or younger. The camp is oriented towards boys from Catholic homes. Many of the boys are from homes where the faith is very important and plays a central role. The mission of the camp is to help these boys grow in friendship with Christ, learning to be close to him in the everyday activities and responsibilities of that age range. The Christian virtues are emphasized, in an environment of teamwork and friendly competition, outdoor activities, sports, and friendship.

The spiritual life of the camp hinges on daily mass and guided prayers, emphasizing God’s will and friendship with Christ present in the Eucharist, and the closeness of Mary, Christ’s mother. The Legionaries of Christ are present throughout the camp, as well as fathers of some of the boys, who volunteer for the week. It is important for boys to see other Catholic boys and dads who put their Catholic faith first in their life.
